Pub not too far from the end of the walk and arrived in time to see 2nd half of footie - something about final rounds and leagues or something - whatever - but everybody else seemed to think it was important ;)
Couple of drinks late and off to find our farm house. Took a while to get there but actually turned out to be the best place we stayed on a walk. We turned up and they had tea and scones all ready for us and it was in a really well done up old house with land and rare breed pigs knocking about.
The evening meal was served - they basically set it all up in the kitchen and left us to it. Wine, fresh asparagus, home made lasagne, wine, crumble and wine! Woo! Had our own nook with floppy sofas and tele and big rustic kitchen with massive able to eat around. Top place (people were a bit odd though!).
Breakfast equally good so all in all a good stay.
