Some Drama to Start

Had a couple of drinks in Chirk. Local bird got chatting to us asking what a bunch of Southeners was doing here. Made some reference to paid tarts and then casually mentioned that there were entry of girls in town who'd do it for free - no idea what she was talking about!!!!
Anyway got us a people mover from Chirk and arrived with aplomb as the taxi driver pulled in opposite the lodgings she completely crushed the posh car in the process. After we checked in I say the owner turn up and there was lots of arm waving and eye rolling going on. Oops!

Stylish Travellers

A short hike into Chirk itself - plan is to get a beer and then a taxi to our digs. Some of us appear to think we are flying though!

Start of the Offa's Dyke Walking Holiday

Arrived at Chirk - apparently the best unmanned station in the Wales! Train was easy. This was probably helped by the 24 cans of beer Brian bought at Euston!

Goodbye Califoria

So the last journey. Actually the 4 days made a good stay before flying home. Just time left to pack our bags and get to the airport now.

A brilliant time had, time to go home.

Friday night

Out on the town for our last night. Went to Rage for happy hour. Weird as at 10:30 they opened the dance floor and within 1 min everyone was dancing like a maniac. If that was England it would take at least 5 pints of standing by the wall to do that!

Pretty good night out - the bars were really busy and fun :) Drank until the money ran out and wandered home.

Where all the lights are bright

Got the tube to downtown and had a wander around. Lots of gold and jewellery shops.

To be honest first impressions are that of a run down, not particularly nice, characterless and sprawling American city. We left it at that.

The Walk of Fame

I've seen all her movies and really love her work. I'm her biggest fan ever!

What do you mean she doesn't really exist?
